Ingredients
- 3 poundsshort ribs
- ½ cupsoy sauce
- ¼ cupwater
- 1 ounceginger
- 2-3 clovesgarlic
- ¼ cupbrown sugar
- ½ onion
- 2 teaspoonssesame oil
- 1 pinchred pepper flakes
- 2 Tablespoonscornstarch
- 1-2 teaspoonsalt
Directions
- Set instant pot to saute
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil
- Combine soy, water, ginger, garlic, sugar, onion, sesame oil in blender
- Stir in red pepper flakes
- Add salt to short ribs
- Brown short rips on 2 sides ~4min per side
- Deglaze instant pot with water
- Add meat back to instant pot
- Add sauce
- Cook on high pressure for 35 min
- Remove meat
- Mix cornstarch with equal parts cold water to make slurry
- Add slurry to instant pot
- Add Sauce to short ribs.
