Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoonsbacon grease
- 2 garlicscloves minced
- 2 mediumsonions chopped
- 1 quartchicken stock
- 4 cupscelery chopped
- 4 cupscarrots chopped
- ½ cupparsley chopped
- 3-4 poundchicken meat, cooked and shredded
- 1 teaspoonsalt
- 1 teaspoonblack pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook chicken meat for 30min.
- Heat large pot on medium heat.
- Add bacon grease.
- Stir in garlic and onions.
- When onions are translucent add stock, celery, carrots, parsley and chicken.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
- Let simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
