Cubed steak

Ingredients

  • 2 poundscubed steak
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • ½ cupcorn starch
  • ½ cupall purpose flour
  • 4 Tablespoonsbutter
  • 2 Tablespoonsolive oil
  • 1 redpepper chopped
  • 1 whiteonion chopped
  • 1 Tablespoongarlic

Directions

  1. combine salt, pepper, and paprika
  2. cover both sides of cubed steak
  3. combine corn starch and flour in a bowl
  4. add remaining (1 teaspoon) salt, pepper, paprika mixture
  5. coat cubed steaks in flour
  6. let rest 10 min
  7. heat butter and olive oil on high until melted
  8. reduce heat to medium-high
  9. fry cubed steak 4 min per side or when browned
  10. return heat to high
  11. add onion and pepper to pan
  12. cook for 2-3 min to brown onions
  13. add minced garlic
  14. add 4 tablespoons of flour
  15. add oil ass needed to make a roux
  16. cook for 8-10 min on medium heat
  17. using a whisk add 3-4 cups of water
  18. add salt and pepper to taste
  19. add gravy and cubbed steak to pressure cooker and cook at high pressure for 15 min or cook in oven together fro 350 degree fro 35-45min
