Furikake

300 g moist leftover Dashi ingredients
15 g Sake
45 g Mirin
45 g soy sauce
15 g toasted white sesame seeds
  1. 1. After making Dashi, let the 300g moist leftover Dashi ingredients cool down a bit until you can handle them.
  2. 2. Cut the moist leftover Dashi ingredients into small pieces. Each amount of moist leftover Dashi ingredients can be as much as you have.
  3. 3. Put the moist leftover Dashi ingredients, 15g Sake, 45g Mirin, and 45g soy sauce in a frying pan.
  4. 4. Cook on medium low heat, stirring constantly, until somewhat dry. ~20 minutes.
  5. 5. Mix in 15g toasted white sesame seeds to finish.
  6. 6. Sprinkle on top of rice or mix in to make rice balls!
  7. 7. You can store the Furikake in the fridge for a week, in the freezer for a month.
