Cook (3 slices)[bacon] in large saucepan on medium heat until crisp. 2. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. 3. Crumble bacon; set aside. 4. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon drippings in pan. 5. Add (2 medium)[potatoes] (peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes), (1 medium)[onion] (chopped), (2 ribs)[celery] (chopped), (1/2 c)[chopped red bell pepper], (3-4 tsp)[OLD BAY® Seasoning] and (1)[Bay Leaf] to pan. 6. Cook and stir 8 minutes or until potatoes are tender. 7. Stir in (960 g)[whole milk] and (340 g)[chopped clams] (undrained) with juice. 8. Bring to boil. 9. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. 10. Remove and discard Bay Leaf. 11. Ladle chowder into soup bowls. 12. Sprinkle with bacon.
