Pelota - Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

  • ¼ poundground lean lamb
  • 1 eggbeaten
  •  tspnutmeg
  •  tspground cloves
  •  tspcumin
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cupbread crumbs or matzo meal

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the meat, egg, nutmeg, cloves, cumin, and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Form into meatballs and roll in bread crumbs
  3. Brown in hot oil
