Pork Chops with Red Barn Spice Rub

Ingredients

  • 4 porkschops
  • 2 TablespoonsRed Barn Spice Rub
  • ½ cupcranberry juice

Directions

  1. Rinse meat
  2. Blot meat dry
  3. Rub spice over all sides of meat
  4. Let meat rest at room temp for 30min to 1hr
  5. Heat cast-iron to medium medium-high heat
  6. Place meat dry side down
  7. Cook 4 min (until meat releases from pan)
  8. Flip chops
  9. Cook for 4 min
  10. Reduce heat to low
  11. Add cranberry juice and cover
  12. Cook for 3 min or until juice becomes thick

Cranberry juice can be swapped for pomegranate juice or red wine.
