Pork Tenderloin with Seasoned Rub

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  • 1 teaspoondried oregano
  • 1 teaspoonground cumin
  • 1 teaspoonground coriander
  • 1 teaspoondried thyme
  • salt
  • 1 ¼ poundpork tenderloin
  • 1 Tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 teaspoonminced garlic

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
  2. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients such as garlic powder, oregano, cumin,
  3. coriander, thyme and salt.
  4. Stir mixture with a fork until all the ingredients are well combined and they form a seasoning.
  5. Sprinkle the rub over the tenderloin
  6. with a dry hand rub the pork with the seasoning over both sides of the meat
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  8. Add the minced garlic and saute, stirring, for 1 minute.
  9. Put tenderloin in the pan
  10. Cook for about 10 minutes, searing each side using tongs to turn the meat.
  11. Transfer meat to a roasting pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  12. Slice and serve.
