Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoonscoriander seeds
- 2 Tablespoonsmustard seeds
- 1 Tablespoonred pepper flakes
- 1 Tablespoondill weed
- 1 Tablespoonallspice
- 1 Tablespoonsalt
- 3 baysleaves
- 3 quartsswater
- 8 smallsred skin potatoes
- 3 earsscorn, cut in thirds
- 4 smokedssausages, such as kielbasa
- 2 poundsshell-on shrimp
- lemon juice
- Cocktail sauce, to serve
- Melted butter, to serve
Directions
- Combine all the spice mix ingredients in a small bowl
- mix well
- Add the spice mix, bay leaves and water in a large pot and add the potatoes.
- Bring to a boil for 15 minutes.
- Add the corn
- boil for 10 minutes.
- Add the sausage
- cook for another 5 minutes.
- Take out a potato from the pot and check to see if it’s fully cooked. If not, cook until potatoes are fully cooked.
- Stir in the shrimp and lemon juice
- place the lid on the pot.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Drain the shrimp
- serve with cocktail sauce and melted butter with garlic and parsley.
