Directions
- 1. Remove stems from 3ripe tomatoes.
- 2. Boil water enough to cover whole tomatoes.
- 3. Blanch tomatoes in water 10-15 seconds.
- 4. Remove.
- 5. Peel skins from tomatoes.
- 6. Press the seeds and juice out.
- 7. Heat olive oil in pan.
- 8. Add 60g onion.
- 9. Add 1clove garlic (chopped).
- 10. Add fresh thyme.
- 11. Chop tomato.
- 12. Add tomato juice (NOT seeds).
- 13. Add tomato.
- 14. Add salt, sugar, pepper.
- 15. Boil 3-4 min.
- 16. Add butter.
